It’s impossible for one dentist to have the knowledge, expertise, and training to cover all areas of dentistry, not to mention cover an entire schedule. At Victoriapark Dental, we have a full team of dentists, with a special emphasis on TEAM. Even though you may only see one dentist during your visit, there are eight other dentists available if need be. We have two specialists and four foreign-trained specialists available to give their input on any case. Our foreign-trained specialists are all licensed as general dentists in Ontario and have additional skills and qualifications from abroad. The advantage to our patients is that these foreign-trained dentists only bill at the same fees as general dentists. For complex cases, our team of dentists will consult with one another, or in a large group, to choose the right treatment plan for that specific patient, their goals, and their situation. This does not add any cost to the patient and you don’t have to pay for multiple opinions.
These dentists are either specialists or experts in a particular area. If the procedure becomes too complex for one of our general dentists, we will pull the dentist from Riverpark Dental who is the most appropriate to perform that treatment based on their experience and knowledge.
