The Patient Care Specialist is ready to answer any questions, give you a tour of the practice, provide you with entertainment options and make sure you're comfortable and relaxed during your appointment. We are ready to help with all your dental needs.
We always offer a free consultation with a dentist at Victoriapark Dental. We don't want you to feel pressured to make any decisions right away. See what we are all about first. We are ready for any questions you might have about our philosphy and treatment, or your own dental health or concerns.

If you make the decision to become a patient at Victoriapark Dental, a comprehensive oral exam is the first step in allowing the dentist to accurately determine your dental health needs. We always inform you of your treatment options and clearly detail the costs.
The number of different options can be very overwhelming, especially if hearing this while lying in a dental chair. At Victoriapark Dental, our discussions happen in a private consultation room where we explain your treatment options, along with any associated fees, using a TV for visual aids. Any family members are welcome to join you for our discussion. Your treatment plan will be customized to fit your goals, needs, and budget. To fulfill our commitment to transparency, we will provide you with a printed copy of your treatment options in case you would like to get a second opinion.
As you may know, dentistry is not always cheap. This is not because dentists get together and set high fees, but rather, because of high costs for dentist to acquire and maintain their license, stay up-to-date with educational programs, adhering to regulatory requirements, and the costs of running a business. At Victoriapark Dental, we do our best to make dentistry affordable and valuable for our patients. Below are a couple of examples on how we do this.
Many of our dentists are licensed in Canada and Ontario as General Dentists, but have previously specialized in a specific area of dentistry in another country. These areas include oral surgery, paediatrics dentistry, endodontics, and orthodontics. The only reason they are not considered“specialists”here is because they have not acquired their specialization here in Canada. However, even though they do not have their specialization here in Canada, they can still perform the same procedures that General Dentists would usually refer out.
Our foreign-trained specialists only charge General Dentist fees, keeping costs low for our patients while providing the added value of a more knowledgeable and experienced dentist. At Victoriapark Dental, our fees are set based on the recommendations of the Ontario Dental Association.
At Victoriapark Dental, we bill your benefit company directly. Many of our patients prefer to pay at the time of service in order to collect points on their credit cards. In either case, we will make sure to be aware of your benefit allowance so there are no surprises in the end. We will take care of all the work for you, submitting your benefit claim electronically and confirming your allowance amounts before treatment beings, so ensure a pleasant and surprise-free appointment.
